Publishing a Book.

What I Learned Part 1: May 27, 2015
A little over a year ago I published my first book. I learned a lot about the writing process and I have decided that there are some things that I would do differently. I did research for two months and I wrote the book in two months and the final part of it was written in the last two weeks. All this was done before my 18th birthday. The book I wrote at age 18 was titled "Hidden Escape."
So here is my advice:

1) Do research but know when to stop & just write the book.
2) Pick a plot and stop changing it.
3) Work with a photographer who will help with deciding the cover art. Or an artist who will design a cover for you
4) Get someone to edit for you who has the time and the commitment to do it with you and tell you when you are wrong and to be critical.
5) Don't procrastinate and blame writer's block for everything. (I did that and finished my book over spring break.)

That Is Only the First Installment of my Advice. This not only applies to writing a book but writing any paper in general.
